Job Description
Ensure the control, recording, and organization of the company's inventory of materials, equipment, and tools, guaranteeing accuracy in the inflows and outflows of goods, and keeping information updated in the management systems.
Main Responsibilities
Receive merchandise, inspect, and verify against purchase orders.
Record and update entries and withdrawals in the inventory system.
Organize and store materials in the warehouse according to safety and accessibility standards.
Control stock, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Prepare materials for internal and external dispatch.
Generate inventory, consumption, and movement reports.
Maintain constant communication with the purchasing and production areas to coordinate supply needs.
Comply with safety standards and internal control procedures.
Requirements
Minimum education : High school diploma (GDP).
Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP, Excel, or specialized software).
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Skills
Organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work under procedures and standards.
Effective communication in English and Spanish.
Proficiency with office equipment and digital tools (Excel, email, inventory software).
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different areas.
Additional Tasks
Correct and update the coding of inventory items in QuickBooks (QB).
Code inventory items according to :
SKU part number
Create a Custom Field for catalog number
Create a Custom Field to record the UPC (Universal Product Code)
Perform physical inventory.
Generate inventory adjustments with the counted quantities.
