Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Editor to join our team and support our Federal Government Customer. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to manage the lifecycle of technical policy documentation, ensuring that it is clear, concise, and consistent with complex technical standards and legal / regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Determine the needs of users of technical documentation
• Develop and refine processes to manage technical documentation throughout its lifecycle
• Track and manage updates, revisions, and approvals from multiple sources
• Collect user feedback to update and improve content
• Review and edit documents based on government standards
• Write or revise supporting content for products
• Develop and incorporate graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the material
• Standardize content across platforms and media
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity
• Ready to take initiative to tackle tasks that need doing whether directly assigned or not
