Our Service Department is seeking GM Automotive Techniciansto diagnose problems and perform repairs and routine service / maintenance according to experience and certifications. Automotive Technician experience is required. GM experience is preferred. Heartland Chevrolet appreciates our employees and invests in their success! Appy now and join our team!

Our Service Department is open Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 - 5 : 30 and is closed every weekend.

Responsibilities - GM Automotive Technician :

  • Diagnose vehicle problems and perform repairs and maintenance work including engine, transmission, suspension, heating, air conditioning, steering, brakes, exhaust systems, and more, according to experience and certifications.
  • Learn new information in training sessions
  • Keep shop neat and account for dealership-owned tools

Qualifications - GM Automotive Technician :

  • Automotive repair experience is required, GM experience is preferred
  • Must provide own tools
  • Versatile in skills and tasks performed
  • A good work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • High school diploma
