A K-12 school in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide critical support in a contract role for the current school year. This opportunity is ideal for a committed professional ready to collaborate with educators, parents, and students to foster a positive educational environment and address diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students to support academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and challenges.
  • Helps in data interpretation and reporting for educational and psychological services.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Valid School Psychology certification or licensure for the state of Texas.
  • Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a contract period.
