Summary of Essential Responsibilities

Performs a variety of maintenance and repair activities of moderate difficulty in the upkeep of County facilities, infrastructure, and grounds.

Essential Responsibilities and Functions

• Performs various maintenance activities to maintain or improve working spaces and building safety
• Receives incoming deliveries and distributes items to the appropriate department
• Removes or relocates items as needed
• Picks up and delivers parts and supplies
• Assists in the repair of plumbing problems and construction requirements
• Performs general clean-up work
• Assists with painting in office renovations
• Maintains an awareness of proper safety procedures and guidelines
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Performs other job related duties as directed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Equipment Used : Hand / power tools and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings and / or facilities, including but not limited to plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical systems; general custodial equipment and supplies; general office equipment, as needed.
