Quality Control Technician

Mueller Water Products, Inc. the nation's leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries, has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician on 3rd shift . This shift works Sunday through Thursday 11pm - 7am.

This role willperform a variety of Quality Assurance and Control Tests / Inspections to include sand system testing and metals testing. This testing regime is to ensure compliance with organizational requirements and regulatory, quality, and reliability standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Computer systems fluency, data analysis and charting.
• Ability to run mechanical and electronic equipment and inspection devices. Those devices are used to validate that our Brass is within Chemistry and Physical (Tensile / Yield / Elongation) requirements as well as our Sand Systems are supplying properly conditioned (moisture, compatibility, grain size, clay content, etc.) Green Sand to our Molding equipment.
• Detail oriented, timely completion of tasks, able to keep records, self-disciplined and ability to make and stand by decisions.
