Job Description

Our Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking an experienced pre-litigation attorney. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all personal injury claims, have excellent client communication, and be able to evaluate and negotiate claims. The position involves overseeing the intake department and paralegals. If you can handle a high-volume caseload and are looking to be on a winning team, please apply today. Salary includes a bonus structure of a percentage of cases settled.

Compensation :

$75,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
  • Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
  • Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
  • Supervision of Support Staff
  • Client Intakes
  • Assemble Demand Packages for Insurance Carriers
  • Settlement Negotiations
  • Court Appearances, Depositions

Qualifications :

  • A good understanding of personal injury law / tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired
  • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
  • 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
  • State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
  • Computer proficiency is essential
