Wedding and Event Planner / Stationery and Linens Manager

High-end retail store seeking a creative, detail-oriented graphic designer who loves paper and people and will thrive on creating fabulous invitations for a demanding clientele. The candidate must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop. Along with the ability to use a Mac and / or PC. The individual must be a quick learner, self-motivated, efficient, and display strong customer service skills.

This employee will also create email blasts and other promotional / marketing materials. The individual must present a professional appearance, maintain a positive attitude and pass a background and security check. The work schedule includes every other Saturday.

Responsibilities include :

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Assist with the design and proofing of custom and semi-custom invitation orders
• Interpret customer needs and inspiration boards into a cohesive design suite
• Update existing invitation suite templates to fit customer preferences (colors, fonts, monograms)
• Communicate with clients via email and phone if needed
• Meet design and print production deadlines
• Design marketing content for our website and social media streams
• Assist with miscellaneous hand assembly tasks (wax seal, adhere liners to envelopes, ribbon tying, packaging orders, etc.)
