Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient IT Support Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations and support functions. This hands-on leadership role requires deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure, and Windows networking. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with leadership, process development, and communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring end-user satisfaction, system reliability, and secure IT operations across the organization.
Base pay range
$90,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the IT support team, overseeing ticket resolution, user satisfaction, and technical guidance.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
- Oversee Azure AD administration, identity management, group policies, and security configurations.
- Manage core Windows network infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, VPNs, etc.) to ensure uptime and performance.
- Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and service level standards.
- Coordinate onboarding / offboarding, system provisioning, and access controls.
- Act as escalation point for complex technical issues involving desktop, server, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with leadership on IT strategy, process improvements, and project planning.
- Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and IT asset lifecycle.
- Monitor security posture and ensure compliance with best practices for system access and data protection.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of progressive IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including Intune and conditional access.Strong working knowledge of Windows networking (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).Proven ability to lead support operations, prioritize tickets, and develop team workflows.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a user-focused mindset.Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow) and remote management platforms.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365 Enterprise Admin, Azure Administrator Associate).Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.Background in managing IT within regulated industries (legal, finance, healthcare, etc.).J-18808-Ljbffr
