HOST / HOSTESS

The Aielli Group is looking for a Host or Hostess to join our team. The Host / Hostess responsibilities include greeting guest, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar area.

To be successful as a Host / Hostess, you should have solid organizational and people skills to ensure our guest have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guest.
  • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting times.
  • Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
  • Provide menus and announce Server name.
  • Acknowledge customers upon their departure.
  • Maintain a clean reception area.
  • Cater to guests who require extra attention (children, elderly).
  • Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries.
  • Manage reservations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Host / Hostess.
  • Understand restaurant etiquette.
  • Experience managing reservations.
  • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional time management.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Lift at least 10lbs.
  • Comply with all food and safety regulations.
