Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 middle school setting in Salinas, CA. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with a standard schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM. The focus is on serving as a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) teacher for middle school students, supporting their individual learning needs and fostering academic growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and adapt curriculum tailored to students with diverse learning needs
• Design and facilitate skill development programs to support student progress
• Write and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in pliance with state and federal guidelines
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings collaboratively with parents, staff, and administrators
• Manage a caseload of approximately 28 students, providing targeted support and interventions
