Position Summary :

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist who will function as a member of the surgical team in creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. This is a working environment with a great group of friendly medical providers and staff.

Responsibilities :

• Functions in the scrub role by preparing, organizing, and anticipating needed instruments, supplies, and equipment for safe patient care and operative procedure
• Assist in the preparation of surgery rooms
• Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment
• Demonstrates the proper use, cleaning, processing, and storage of instruments and equipment
• Assist in cleaning, restocking, and room turnover
• Assists in non-surgical patient intervention under the direct supervision of a physician or RN
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to assist with additional unit needs as necessary
