Director of Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO)
Position Summary : The Director of Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) will lead a statewide initiative to optimize the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the Commonwealth's multimodal transportation network. This high-impact, cross-departmental role requires strong leadership and collaboration to align IT, ITS, Planning, Traffic & Safety, Operations, and Maintenance efforts under a unified TSMO strategy. The Director will guide policy development, interagency coordination, and implementation of innovative, cost-effective operational strategies that reduce congestion, enhance mobility, and promote economic and environmental sustainability.

Applicants must have at least (A) six (6) years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in business administration, business management, public administration, public management, clinical administration or clinical management of which (B) at least two (2) years must have been in a project management, supervisory or managerial capacity or (C) any equivalent combination of the required experience and substitutions below.
