Therapeutic Focus is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric therapy clinic seeking a highly motivated, passionate, coachable, tech savvy and creative Occupational Therapist to join our growing virtual team.This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Occupational Therapy clinician eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students (K-12) through innovative, school-based teletherapy.
Our mission is to alleviate cognitive and developmental deficiencies in children by providing safe, ethical and individualized treatment services that will prepare them to thrive within society. We provide outpatient and school-based therapy to children in Arkansas and Tennessee.
We are currently seeking a passionate and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in avirtual school-based setting serving students within the state of Tennessee. This role focuses on delivering pediatric therapy services remotely, supporting students educational and developmental needs in collaboration with school teams and families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- A valid Tennessee Occupational Therapist license is required; willingness to pursue Arkansas licensure is also expected.
- Minimum of 23 years of clinical experience, with at least one year in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Prior teletherapy experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in internet navigation and virtual communication tools (confident using video conferencing platforms, cloud-based documentation systems, and digital collaboration tools)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- NBCOT certification is strongly preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials, such as patient records and Individualized Education Plans and 504 PlansStrong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to collaborate with associates, educators, physicians, and familiesAbility to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment in a virtual settingSkill in organizing multiple tasks and maintaining efficiency in a remote environmentComfort and proficiency with technology platforms for teletherapy and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentationKey Job Responsibilities
Conducts initial assessments of students to determine therapy needsDevelops and implements individualized education plans (including input with 504 plans)Provides ongoing assessment and adapts therapy as neededCollaborates with school staff and families to support educational goalsIdentifies student-specific learning needs and provides targeted educationMaintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional standardsDemonstrates initiative in self-development and continuous learningSchedule :
