Employment Type : Full-time

Hourly Rate : $65 / hour

Position Overview :

Deliver specialized nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting, focusing on burn, trauma, and general surgery patients. Join a collaborative team committed to excellence in outpatient care.

  • Experience : Outpatient oncology experience with the administration of chemotherapy is preferred.
  • Professional Growth :

Qualifications :

  • Education : ADN / BSN from an accredited program
  • Licensure : Active NY RN License
  • Experience :
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of comparable size and level as Hospital.
  • Must have experience in ambulatory, oncology or surgical settings.
  • Travel nurses must have experience in hospitals of equal or larger size or trauma centers .
  • Technical Skills :
  • BLS certification required; must be able to maintain / renew certification as needed.
  • EPIC EMR proficiency (preferred)
  • Soft Skills :
  • Patient education expertise
  • Team collaboration in high-volume settings

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive care for surgical / trauma patients
  • Educate patients / families on post-procedure care
  • Coordinate with surgical teams for seamless care transitions
  • Maintain accurate EPIC documentation
  • Adhere to infection control protocols in specialty areas
