Position Overview :

This is an exciting opportunity to join a young and lively company in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Director, Business Development is responsible for all phases of the development of the companys future revenue stream through new account targeting and development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Develop and generate new business development leads.
• Work with targeted business development accounts to secure future business.
• Develop and implement projects, programs and strategies to accomplish corporate objectives.
• Develop materials and presentations demonstrating CRO services according to client specifications and needs.
• Prepare and / or assist in the preparation of price quotations, terms of sale and timelines according to company policy and within corporate guidelines.
• Monitor monthly time and activity versus productivity to assess and implement continuous improvement.
• Interview prospective new team members.
• Supervise and conduct employee training / continuing education and performance evaluations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in life science from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred; may be replaced by relevant experience. Other bachelor's degrees with relevant industry experience will be considered.

Travel :

Travel of up to 75% may be required.

Compensation Range :

Full-time Position : $130,000 -$160,000 base pay with generous uncapped commission structure + benefits package and annual performance bonus (Includes : health insurance, 401k retirement plan, and paid days off)

Consultant Rate : will be DOE
