Salary : 20.00-24.00 DOE

R. Marley, LLC is looking for a full-time, year-round Restoration Technician and General Laborer in our Environmental division. We handle Emergency Spill response, waste management, soil remediation, reclamation plans, stormwater services, well clean up restoration and fire / flood clean up restoration.

Our Restoration Technician / General Laborer position is geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction and / or cleanup site while also supporting the overall project.

The list of duties and responsibilities for a Restoration Technician / General Laborer on any given day may include the following :

1. Perform a water, fire, or spill damage assignment on location.

2. Learn basic aspects of all restoration type assignments.

3. Physically fit with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and / or conditions with the work environments customary for this type of work.

4. Cleaning and preparing construction and / or cleanup sites.

5. Loading and unloading materials and equipment.

6. Building and taking down scaffolding and / or temporary structures.

7. Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.

8. Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.

9. Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.

10. Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.

Requirements

1. Minimum education High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum 18 years of age for insurance purposes.

3. Valid NM Driver's License with clean driving record to drive company vehicles.

4. Reliable transportation required.

5. Ability to work with grossly contaminated environment.

6. Qualified candidate can work in a team environment, whether performing duties alone or with others, and follow instructions.

7. Must be reliable and able to work overtime and on weekends on occasion.

8. Pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time.

2. Ability to travel up and down ladders.

3. Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.

4. Ability to work in high places and in tight spaces.

5. Ability to wear all appropriate PPE when working in the grossly contaminated environments.

6. Capable of working in fire, smoke and / or water damage environments that have potential for mold and mildew.
