What You'll Do :
- Operate and set up CNC equipment, including lathes and mills, across various axes to craft precision parts.
- Work seamlessly with G-Code and M-Code for efficient programming and operation.
- Perform machine setups that emphasize quality and production effectiveness.
- Interpret detailed blueprints to meet exact specifications.
- Employ shop math for precise measurement and tolerance assessment.
- Leverage CAM software to optimize machining achievements.
- Implement routine maintenance and troubleshoot as needed to ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine machining practices for enhanced efficiency.
What You Bring :
Substantial CNC machining experience.Deep understanding of CNC tools, particularly G-Code and M-Code operations.Proficiency in machine setup for streamlined production.Adept at reading complex blueprints and technical drawings.Advanced math skills for accurate calculations.Basic computer skills including proficient use of CAM software.Keen attention to detail and quality.Familiarity with brands like Star, Tornos, Tornos, DMG Mori, and others is favorable.Shifts & Compensation
