Instrumentation & Control Systems / Water Treatment Operator

Field activities include monitoring gauges, measuring pumps, instrument and service air pressure, hydraulics, monitoring suction and discharge elevation, reservoir and weir elevation, discharge valve position. Responsibilities also include performing direct startup and stopping of pumps in accordance with load demand and performing minor repairs to equipment.

Key responsibilities :

• Request repair and generate work orders for maintenance service
• Respond to emergency situations and immediately notify the appropriate personnel and treatment operations
• Set up process pumping and distribution, wastewater collection and water or wastewater treatment processing equipment status using graphical objects displayed
• Instrumentation experience is a plus, including flow meters, pressure probes, temperature probes, transmitters, PLC's, HMI's and similar experience
