Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer / Architect
Contract Duration : 6 Months+

Reason for Opening : Migration from Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Overview :
We’re seeking a senior-level Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architect to lead a global enterprise transformation from Citrix to AVD, supporting over 1,800 instances. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on delivery , requiring a candidate who can operate as both a technical authority and a consulting thought leader. This is not an administrative position - it’s a high-impact role for someone who can manage complex, enterprise-scale projects end-to-end.
Must-Have Experience
- AVD Expertise : Large-scale implementations (1,000+ instances) with global reach and operational efficiency.
- Azure Stack HCI (Azure Local) : Deep implementation experience and hybrid cloud integration.
- Windows 11 Enterprise Delivery : Proven at-scale delivery through AVD.
- Image Management & Automation : Skilled in automation for image creation and deployment (Nerdio a plus).
- End-to-End Delivery : Track record of 10+ month enterprise projects vs. short sprints.
