Location : North Newton, Kansas

Duties :

Conduct legal research and provide analysis on case law, statutes, and regulations

Draft legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings

Advise clients on legal matters and maintain ongoing communication regarding case status

Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management

Prepare for and assist in settlement negotiations

Ensure compliance with ethical and professional responsibility standards set by the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct

Fulfill all Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements as mandated by the Kansas Bar

Contribute to firm-wide success through effective teamwork and client service

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas

Demonstrated understanding of legal principles and litigation procedures

Experience or interest in client advisory, research, and trial preparation

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications :

Active membership in the Kansas State Bar

Completion of required CLE credits on an annual basis

Skills :

Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical abilities
