The Production Manager is responsible for leading the Batch Production team, ensuring process compliance and operational excellence. This role is responsible for achieving key performance targets while fostering a high-performing team culture.

This position reports to the Head of Kits Manufacturing and is part of the In-House Manufacturing team located in Eugene, Oregon. This is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

• Build a winning team! Lead a team of highly skilled BP associates, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and policy compliance.
• Be an operational leader responsible for planning and executing the production plan while maintaining productivity and inventory targets.
• Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets of the BP team through effective and efficient Daily Management and KPI-driven action plans.
• Develop and execute a BP strategy aligned with global and site operational goals, including process improvements, new product integration, and equipment upgrades where applicable. Champion the Danaher Business System (DBS) and leverage it to map improvement plans and drive sustainable improvements through Daily Management (DM) and Kaizen methodologies.
• Lead technical problem-solving efforts for Abcam Eugene products and build the technical problem-solving skills of the BP team.
• Ensure adherence to ISO9001 documented manufacturing processes and safety policies for the BP team.
