Construction Loan Servicing Specialist
Location : 1675 Broadway - Denver, Colorado 80202
Qualified candidate must be able to report to one of the offices listed 2 days per week, in a hybrid capacity.
Job Summary
Responsible for servicing assigned Construction portfolio consisting of a variety of products primarily for the Community Development Lending / Income Property Group / Institutional Real Estate Group / Healthcare Real Estate Line of Business. Primary draw functions are for non-owner occupied construction / interim loan servicing. Provide excellent communication with the lending staff and partners supported by the IPG / IRE / HC teams. Client segment focus is local and regional private developers and some public companies. Independently manage all pre-closing review of construction documents and due diligence applicable to construction and risk management. Responsible for providing superior client service and expertise related to construction administration including draw processing, budgets, construction contractor documents, lien laws with ability to juggle multiple projects and levels of complexity. Strength and experience also required for loan system processing, problem solving and data integrity.
Essential Functions
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent commercial loan experience (preferred)
Work Experience
3+ years of related experience, preferably in commercial construction lending (preferred)
Skills
Understanding of commercial lending concepts
Proficiency in commercial loan documentation and closing
Strong solution-oriented and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
Effective planning and organizational abilities; high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment

Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
