12News , the NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona , is looking for an editor and digital producer to advance our streaming product. We are focused on streaming growth and are expanding our streaming program lineup throughout 2024, with plans to launch additional programs as we continue to prioritize streaming.

This position will produce and edit content throughout the week. Some work as a digital producer writing for our website and app will also be part of the duties.

Streaming content may include breaking news content that we livestream as well as shows and specials we produce. You’ll also work to optimize our YouTube content and help cut and create social content. As a digital producer, you’ll be responsible for writing breaking news stories and ensuring our website and social channels are engaging and informative for audiences.

This is a hands-on news role with the opportunity to gain frontline experience and contribute to high-quality programming.

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit content throughout the week for streaming, website, and app platforms.
• Write breaking news stories and ensure the website and social channels are enticing and informative.
• Live curate and optimize streaming content, including shows and specials.
• Improve YouTube content and create social content from editorial material.
