Overview
We\u2019re looking for a candidate who can drive sales and strategies related to our industrial automation products and capabilities. This person will bridge the gap between engineering and sales, leveraging technical knowledge to provide complex automation solutions for new and existing customers. This role involves working closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, propose custom solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients primarily in the state Utah but also throughout North America.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable automation solutions while working with our engineering team to determine feasibility and optimization.
- Develop detailed proposals and pricing quotes.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Build out our portfolio of work for case study presentations and capability demonstration.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and prepare marketing materials.
- Develop a CRM system to track status of leads, quotes and providing forecasts of expected orders. Daily documentation of sales activities.
Qualifications
Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation abilities, mandatory.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role focused on automation or manufacturing solutions, or similar technical field.Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) highly desired.Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, components, and machinery (robotics, PLCs, sensors, etc.).Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities and objectives.Self-motivated, independent, and proactive in driving sales and market awareness.Well-connected within the manufacturing industry to support lead generation.Willing and able to travel frequently for client visits and industry events.Benefits
