Position Overview :

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Ag / Commercial Lender to join our lending team.

    • In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of agricultural and commercial loans, cultivating client relationships, and supporting the financial needs of local businesses and farm operations.  Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, service, and grow a portfolio of ag and commercial loans.
  • Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and loan risk.
  • Structure loan packages and negotiate terms with clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and actively seek new lending opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with credit analysts, loan support staff, and other departments to deliver top-tier service.
  • Attend community events and maintain a visible presence to strengthen business development efforts.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of lending experience, preferably in ag / commercial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural operations and local business environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess loan risk.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a team-focused mindset.
