Security Officer - Campus Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Driver in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. Pay Rate : $22.58 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thu 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and / or customers in a courteous manner while upholding site policies and procedures.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or site management.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports and logs as required by site-specific policies.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as necessary.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections is required.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
