🏷️ Lead Support Representative, Warehouse
Position Overview The Lead Support Representative plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, guiding a team of associates and forklift drivers, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Acting as the direct backup to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role combines leadership, training, and hands-on operational support to drive efficiency and excellence across the distribution center.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to meet operational timelines and activity goals.
Lead and direct warehouse associates, dispatchers, and forklift drivers in daily tasks.
Support the development and achievement of productivity and quality standards.
Train team members on procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety / security policies.
Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely processing of all paperwork.
Operate material handling and dock equipment proficiently.
Troubleshoot system and process issues using WMS, scanners, PCs, and manifest systems.
Provide cross-functional support to other warehouse areas as needed.
Meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks set by leadership.
Physically assist with warehouse tasks when required.
Handle daily inventory and transactional volumes exceeding $5M.
🎓 Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 4 years of warehouse experience, or 3 years within the organization.
Current forklift certification required.
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
Familiarity with ERP platforms and MS Office applications preferred.
Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, and reaching.

May require overtime or work outside standard hours.
