A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate to provide service to patients and providers through calls and appointment scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or GED
1+ years of related experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office
Previous medical office experience preferred, with a focus on optometric or ophthalmic settings
Ability to work in a remote environment and manage varying shifts
Familiarity with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
