We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in South Orange County. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions with a high level of accuracy, including coding and entering invoices into the system.
• Verify invoice details to ensure proper authorization and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address vendor inquiries.
• Maintain detailed records of all accounts payable activities for audit and reporting purposes.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices to align with company accounting practices.
• Monitor payment schedules and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist in month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.
