Insight Global is in search of OSP Construction Managers that will be responsible for overseeing all phases of fiber optic and other telecommunication network installations outside of buildings. This includes managing budgets and timelines, supervising field crews and contractors, and ensuring projects meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Project and budget management :  Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for construction projects.
• Team and contractor oversight :  Supervise in-house and third-party construction crews, providing direction, performance reviews, and training.
• On-site supervision :  Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and perform quality control inspections.
• Problem-solving :  Troubleshoot and resolve construction or design issues that arise in the field by working with engineers and contractors.
• Stakeholder coordination :  Manage communication with clients, contractors, municipalities, and utility companies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Reporting and documentation :  Prepare regular project reports and maintain accurate records, including "as-built" documentation.
• Inventory management :  Ensure that materials, equipment, and supplies are available when needed.

Qualifications and requirements

Compensation :

$40 / hr to $48 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
