BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position) :
Performs routine daily record audits of assigned revenue generating departments to determine compliance with gaming regulations and company and departmental policies and procedures. Prepares manual and computer accounting records and reports. Performs other departmental activities as directed.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.
- Perform routine account reconciliations.
- Use audit software as required.
- Prepares periodic reports of company activities.
- Gathers data and prepares portions of Daily Manager's Report and other reports and schedules as assigned.
- Prepares and maintains assigned finance department records.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with operating department team members.
- Comply with all applicable company and finance department policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience) :
Professional appearance and attitude.Must be 21 or older.High school graduate; some accounting courses preferred.Minimum one year accounting / bookkeeping activities and / or other satisfactory experience.Minimum six months computer experience with ability to use spreadsheets; word processing exposure a plus.Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policiesThis description of duties, responsibilities and requirements is a summary, and is not intended to include all that may be assigned or required.
