Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Research Planning and Execution : Design and execute comprehensive research plans. Employ Human Centered Design Research Methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, field studies, to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Data Analysis and Insight Generation : Analyze user data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights. Utilize statistical tools and software for data analysis, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of findings.
- Synthesis and Deliverables : Synthesize research findings into clear, concise deliverables, including user personas, journey maps, empathy maps, and other user experience artifacts. Present research findings to stakeholders in a compelling and understandable manner, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including experience architects, designers, product managers, developers, and marketing teams, to integrate user insights into the product development lifecycle. Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in user research and data analysis. Continuously improve research processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Data Science, Human Factors, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in user research and data analysis, preferably within a similar industry.Proficiency in research tools and software such as SPSS, SAS, R, Python, NVivo, Excel, or similar.Strong understanding of various research methodologies and their application.Excellent analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex information to diverse audiences.Experience in creating user personas, journey maps, empathy maps, and other UX deliverables.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the energy or clean technology sector is a plus.Familiarity with Figma.Certification in UX Research or Data Analysis.Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
