job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMinimum age : 18+ Required : Emergency Medical Technician Certification and valid NREMT Certification Required : Able to obtain WV State EMT Certification (Provided) Required training : HazMat, Bloodborne Pathogens, Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Preferred : Mental Health First Aid Certification Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Summit UTV and vehicle permit and Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening) Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift / move up to 100 pounds Stamina to repeatedly lift, bend, and kneel Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height / weight guidelines Housing : 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform : Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours : 45-55 High emotional intelligence (such as self / social awareness and team dynamics) Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn / develop hard and soft skills Ability to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgrounds

Position Overview
Ensure guests receive high quality healthcare while staying at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with care for sick or injured campers and staff daily
- Respond to and / or assist with emergencies as they occur
- Assist with mental health first aid when necessary
- Assist with opening and closing procedures in the Summit Health Lodge
- On-Call Rotation
- Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions while maintaining
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
