Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable functions. In this role, you will ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies while maintaining accurate financial records. You will also oversee timely vendor payments and review the accounts payable register for accuracy. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and reports directly to the VP of Finance, with exposure to the CFO and other senior leaders. Please note, this is an on-site position at our Support Center in beautiful Boca Raton, FL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, managing two direct reports.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all job assignments and procedures.
• Establish and enforce effective accounts payable methods, policies, and procedures.
• Plan work assignments, evaluate performance, and provide guidance on procedural and technical issues.
• Resolve payment or billing issues with vendors promptly.
• Manage and nurture vendor relationships.
• Verify invoices, code expenses, prepare vouchers, and issue checks and ACH transactions.
• Oversee the monthly closing of financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including monthly expense accruals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
