Job Description

• Samaritans Purse is seeking an Application Administrator to join our team remotely . You can help develop and maintain critical ministry applications.
• As an Application Administrator , you will be responsible for the installation, upgrades, patches, configuration, administration, and support of all applications and associated servers.
• This role will work closely with application owners and program managers to understand the use cases and needs of the applications.

• In the role of Application Administrator , you will have the opportunity to :
• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Run, maintain, and sustain application dependencies for assigned applications
• Monitor security bulletins, vendor communications, application communications, and dependency bulletins
• Create and maintain operational guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent and resolve server and application problems
• Perform installs, patches, upgrades, and updates for assigned applications within the context of established change control procedures
• Establish high availability for assigned applications as needed
• Establish disaster recovery for assigned applications by working cross-functionally with infrastructure and database administrators
• Document application needs and dependencies, monitoring, and disaster recovery
• Establish monitoring and alerting for assigned applications
• Identify, resolve, and document issues related to the technology
• Support the technical integrations
• Create and execute a technical roadmap for the applications performance, reliability, and security
• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual
• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers
• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public
• All other duties as assigned
