Clinical Inpatient Dietitian

Description

UCLA Health is seeking to hire a full-time Clinical Inpatient Dietitian to join our Department of Nutrition. You will provide medical nutrition therapy to specialized areas of adult pediatric, and NICU clinical nutrition in the following areas : Liver transplant, critical care, GI, organ transplant, cardiology, renal oncology, and more. You will work with a multidisciplinary team that consists of Dietitians, Food Service Personnel, Nurses, Physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Primary duties include :

Assessing and documenting the nutrition status of patients

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring assessments and nutrition care plans
• Integrating and providing patient education

Acting as a liaison to home health agencies

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian (RD)
