Position :

  • Receipt Inspector Location : Palisades Energy Holtec Palisades seeks qualified applicants for the position of Receipt Inspector in its Procurement department based at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.
  • Palisades is positioned to become the first nuclear power plant in the United States to restart after previously entering the early stages of decommissioning.

Job Summary :

  • Performing inspections, examinations and testing associated with the receipt and dedication of purchased material.
  • Reviewing and approving inspection, examination and testing procedures (ANSI Level II and III only).
  • Providing oversight capability for the receipt inspection office and provide technical support to Stores management.
  • Developing, maintaining, and administering inspection, examination, and testing training (ANSI Level III only).
  • Qualifying new and existing ANSI Level 1 & 2 inspectors (ANSI Level III Only).
  • Performing warehousing functions as required.

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related subject matter.
  • Ten years of relevant nuclear experience in quality, warehousing, accounting, materials, contracts, maintenance, project management and engineering.
  • Qualified / Certified ANSI Level II or III.
  • Knowledge of Inventory and Material Control software systems.
  • Minimum of 4 years of established performance as an ANSI Level 2 inspector in the materials discipline or 6 years related maintenance or inspection activity.
  • Applied MRO materials experience by discipline, craft, and manufacturer.
  • Knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality requirements.
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with others in the organization including good oral and written communication skills.
