Maine Technical Source is seeking an Office Manager to work in their Yarmouth, Maine office.
Requirements of the Office Manager :
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of office management experience
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient in records management
- Experienced in managing office supply procurement, equipment orders, and inventory control systems
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds as part of regular job duties
- Basic accounting knowledge preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency. Experience with MS Word, Publisher, Excel, and accounting software preferred
- Skilled in optimizing office workflows and processes
- Delivers exceptional customer service with a focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and problem resolution
- Exercises sound judgment and maintains confidentiality
- Ability to work from the Yarmouth office / showroom.

Oversees daily administrative operations and office coordinationResolves customer service issues related to sales and deliveriesProvides executive support including project planning, marketing assistance, and office coordination tasksDevelops and implements reporting procedures; manages records and inventoryPrepares reports, correspondence, and manages databasesManages office space assignments, building security, and maintenanceCoordinates department programs, events, workshops, and special projectsHandles incoming shipments and delivery logisticsMaintains inventory and restocks branch suppliesGathers and shares client feedback to improve serviceProcesses sales / service tickets, orders, payments, and shippingManages billing and basic accounting tasksPerforms inventory adjustments and transfersSupports sales team and management with administrative tasksOrders and maintains office supply inventoryMaine Technical Source (MTS) is a privately owned company that supplies surveyors, engineers, contractors and architects with the world’s finest technical and measurement tools, supplies, software, training, and service from locations in ME, MA, and NY.
