Base pay range

$140,800.00 / yr - $215,000.00 / yr

At Jacobs, we challenge current norms to shape innovative solutions for tomorrow. We are seeking a driven, well-organized, and client-focused Civil Engineering Department Manager to lead our civil engineering team in Cary, North Carolina.

You will oversee a team of civil engineers supporting projects from conception through construction, ensuring successful project delivery through collaboration across disciplines, including construction. Your role includes representing and guiding the civil team during design and construction phases, mentoring team members, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring quality and compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Ensure adherence to land development, zoning, and building regulations.
