Description

Finkbine Golf Course is in Iowa City and is the University of Iowa's golf course. The goal of the grounds maintenance department is to provide the golfing community with a well maintained golf course on a daily basis. We are looking for seasonal employees who are dedicated and will work hard to help us accomplish our goals.

Job Requirements :

  • Enjoy working outside in various types of weather
  • Show up when scheduled, including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to take pride in your work
  • Follow directions and work well with others

Job Duties :

  • Mowing Greens, Tees, Fairways and Rough
  • Raking Bunkers
  • Weed whacking and other course detail work
  • Hand watering of Greens, Tees and Fairways as directed
  • Daily Course Set-up
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary to maintain and improve course conditions
