Role description

Arcadis seeks a Staff Highway Design Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. This is a remote position with the opportunity to work in the office as well.

Responsibilities

• As a Staff Highway Design Engineer, you will assist the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways, including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates and interstate interchanges.
• You may also have the opportunity to perform different roles on multi-disciplinary projects including planning, technical design of minor projects, production lead, task leader and assisting Project Manager and lead engineers.
• Project development working as an individual or through team efforts to assist in developing project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of client needs for the Project Manager, mentoring and development of junior staff and design / drafters, development of project plans and maintaining project schedules and ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards.

Benefits

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $113,646 - $140,636. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
