LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AP / AR Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a reputable client located in Midtown. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes. The position offers the potential for a hybrid work schedule and immediate consideration for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities :
Process vendor invoices and perform 3-way matching to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including check runs and vendor payments
Set up and maintain vendor records in the accounting system
Post payments and manage cash receipts
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with 1099 processing and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
Proficiency in Yardi software is highly preferred
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
