Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is adding a Senior Mechanical Engineer to our Mechanical Team based in Sacramento, CA, or surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to lead mechanical engineering design across diverse market sectors, including commercial, education, government, healthcare, and hospitality. Your Role :
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will drive the design and planning of sustainable mechanical systems for high-performance buildings and facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, compliance with codes and client requirements, and overall project success. In this role, you will act as Engineer of Record, oversee MEP technical communication with clients, and provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Additionally, you will participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment, requiring candidates to be located in Sacramento, CA, or surrounding areas, and eligible to work in the U.S. On-site project meetings may be required to facilitate collaboration and project execution.

Salary Range : $150,000 - $175,000 (depending on experience)
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual salaries will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications. This salary range is just one component of Tetra Tech's total compensation package, which includes benefits, professional development opportunities, and additional incentives.
