Responsibilities
Build and maintain a successful customer service focused IT brand that strives to continuously improve.
o Implements and uses metrics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor performance success, evolve metrics with the changing technology landscape and needs of the business.
Implements and maintains a multi-resource (internal / external staffing) and business efficient IT service delivery program.
o Owns managed service vendor relationships within scope.
Owner and executor of multi-year road maps for people, process, and technology of each division of the Department of Finance.
Accountable for creating inclusive, transparent, and highly connected business relationships with internal customers and external partners. Maintains extensive documentation and delivers updates and reporting to senior leadership with meaningful metrics and insights on scope of work and services.
Preferred Qualification
College degree or equivalent professional experience.
Expertise in at least one core functional area of IT - such as Cybersecurity, Applications Development & Management, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Program & Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, Governance, Risk, & Compliance, End-user Computer Collaboration, IT Process Management.
Enterprise contract review and negotiation experience.
Proven ability to recruit and retain talent.
Advanced ability to mentor and develop team members.
Job Requirements
Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in senior leadership.
Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience leading a technical team.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning demonstrating the ability to develop, analyze and decide among alternative solutions to current and anticipated IT needs.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
