As an Electrical Engineer at Kimberly-Clark, you will initiate design, develop, optimize, and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. In this role, you will provide leadership and design, development, optimization and problem solving of new to the world technologies as well as facility electrical systems. This position is based out of our Neenah, WI Kimtech Facility. Occasional travel, both in our North American and International manufacturing facilities may be required.
In this role, you will :
- Develop and upgrade equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines while providing accurate documentation. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
- Work closely with fellow engineers on multiple equipment, product or process improvement projects from conception through commercialization.
- Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.
- Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, LEAN principles, and project management.
- Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
- Coach and mentor team members within the facility in areas of expertise including technical training, problem solving, and knowledge transfer.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications :
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology degree from an accredited college and 3 years or more of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments.Knowledge of manufacturing control systems, such as : PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed and servo motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); sensors and instrumentation; automated inspection systems.Exposure to applied distributed control systems including technology understanding and development with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements.A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.Experience working with Technical Service Providers and / or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and demonstrated ability to drive project results.Salary Range : $86,000 - $106,000 USD
This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role's country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
