• Pediatric nursing expertise, including managing diagnoses such as gastrostomy tubes (G-tube), tracheostomy care, and epilepsy\n
• Current CPR certification\n
• Ability to commit to a 37.5-hour workweek within standard school hours\n
• Willingness and ability to provide direct 1 : 1 nursing care and accompany students on buses or as needed during school transportation\n
• Familiarity with specialized nursing documentation and licensure requirements, including willingness to complete district-specific background checks and fingerprinting processes\n\nLocation and Schedule : \n
• Multiple onsite nursing positions available at elementary and high school levels in the Tampa, Florida area\n
• Specific assignments include Knights Elementary (7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM, includes bus ride), Ippolito Elementary (7 : 10 AM – 1 : 55 PM, car rider; early release at 12 : 55 PM Mondays), and Blake High School (8 : 40 AM – 3 : 40 PM)\n
• Employment duration is contract-based for the current school year (CSY)\n\nResponsibilities : \n
• Provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to individual students with complex medical conditions during school hours\n
• Monitor health status, administer treatments, and maintain accurate, timely documentation following district protocols\n
