Accounting Position
Essential Duties And Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries.
- Recording financial transactions and ensuring all entries are accurate.
- Assist preparing for annual audits and tax return preparation.
- Accounting, investment reconciliation, and financial reporting for The Moody Endowment.
- Support documentation and processing of grants approved by The Moody Endowment.
- Grant activity reporting and reconciliation.
- Other duties as needed by the CFO.
Qualifications :
Required Knowledge And Skills :
Understanding of GAAP theory and practices.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure deadlines are met on a consistent basis.Ability to operate basic office equipment.Experience working with Sage Intacct accounting software.Education :
Bachelor's degree in accounting.Experience :
