Business Office Clerk (Full-Time)

Fast paced ambulatory surgical center looking for an individual that is outgoing, energetic, hard-working and loves helping people. Medical office experience is required.

You will be responsible for welcoming patients and families, physicians, and other visitors to the center.

Essential Functions :

• Greet and check-in patients
• Maintaining current demographic and insurance information into the facility computer software
• Gather all documentation necessary for surgical procedures
• Collect co-pay / co-insurance payments, and assist patients as needed
• Assist with scheduling procedures for surgery center
• Coordinate with insurance provider and the physician office to obtain pre-authorizations
• Other duties include collecting payments and any other necessary duties.
