Electrical Engineer I - Englobal

Main Purpose

The main purpose of the Electrical Engineer is to facilitate PDC and RIE shelter design, process analytical shelter designs, controls and power systems integration. This position is located in Houston, Texas at our ENG Fabrication Shop.

Essential Functions

• Interact with BD / Management to generate estimates and proposals for incoming customer RFQs
• Interact with project manager and other departments such as production, CAD and procurement during execution of project
• Evaluate and implement customer and / or ENGlobal standard project specifications for a mix of analytical, power, CEMS, controls and DCS-RIE integration projects
• Apply working knowledge of national electric code – specifically class 1 division 2 installations. Knowledge of IEC, ATEX, IECEx
• Apply working knowledge of process analyzers, P&IDs, PLC / logic / signals
• Apply working knowledge of RIE's power buildings, PDC's, Power racks, etc
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
